Full Field Digital Mammography (FFDM) system became available in 2000 and received its FDA approval for both Hardcopy and Softcopy reading. In April 2002, clearance has been granted by the FDA for the use of R2’s proprietary mammography Computer Aided Detection (CAD) technology with the GE Senographe® 2000D.
